Bob Daniels

Bob began his career in industry during his sophomore year in high school, working as a certified code welder for a local manufacturer in Wyoming, where he was born and raised.  After being honorably discharged from a six-year enlistment in the United States Navy as a propulsion engineer, he began working in the traditional insurance market as a risk analyst.

He earned two degrees during his sixteen-year employment with Hartford Steam Boiler before transitioning to Vice President at the AES Global Insurance Company where he assumed the task of building a state-of-the-art loss control program.  During his tenure at AGIC, Bob worked closely with Mike Thomas while conducting AES equipment failure investigations, and in 2009, joined Mike’s team and continues supporting Insurers in the energy industry as a Partner with MGTA Group.

His favorite quote is by Barbara J. Winter, “When you come to the edge of all the light you know, and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing one of two things will happen: there will be something solid to stand on, or you will be taught to fly.”
